The radius is a service decision, not a marketing one. Aeration and overseeding needs a germination check three weeks later. Tick barriers need to land inside a two-week window in late May. Neither of those survives a company stretched across three counties, so we stay inside about twenty minutes of Suffield centre.
That covers the Connecticut River valley towns north of Hartford and the hill towns immediately west, plus the Massachusetts border towns just over the line.
